Victor Herman Buschjost

Victor Herman Buschjost, 87, of Jefferson City, died Friday, September 15, 2017, at Adams Street Place. He was born on April 27, 1930, in Wardsville, Missouri, the son of the late Joseph Herman Buschjost and Cecelia Anna Kolb Buschjost. He was married on October 18, 1952, in Jefferson City to Mary Wilma Marie Brenneke who survives at the home. Mr. Buschjost was employed for over forty years as a heavy equipment operator and foreman with the Leonard Barnhart Construction Company. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where he served for many years as an usher. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2693. Victor especially enjoyed helping his nephews on the Buschjost family farm, going for a drive, and dancing with his beloved wife, Marie. Other survivors include three children, James (Lisa) Buschjost, Taos; Jeffrey (Darlene) Buschjost, Wardsville; and Jacqueline (Jerry) Jenkins, Jefferson City; six grandchildren, Brian (Breay) Buschjost, Folk; Molly (Tom) Leonard, Jefferson City; Adam Buschjost, Osage Bend; Nicole (Devin) Grothoff, Holts Summit; Joshua (Ashleigh) Jenkins (U.S. Navy, Deployed), Whidbey Island, Washington; and Janet (Ashton) Glaser, Ozark, Missouri; three great-grandchildren, Bailey Buschjost, Laney Leonard, and Bella Buschjost; two sisters, Gladys Ann (Bernard) Lehman, St. Martins; and Margie Struemph, Wardsville; and one sister-in-law, Julie Buschjost, Wardsville. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Buschjost and Leonard Buschjost; and two infant brothers, Clarence Buschjost and Paul Buschjost; one sister-in-law, Betty Jean Buschjost; and one brother-in-law, August Struemph. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Cesar Anicama and the Rev. I.C. Medina concelebrating. Entombment will be in St. Stanislaus Mausoleum, Wardsville. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, September 18th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 E.
