The Rev. Clella I. "C.I." Smith

April 11, 1930 — August 8, 2003

He was born in McBaine, MO to Clella Jackson and Mary Isabelle Bradshaw Smith. He was married on June 7, 1952 in Sedalia, MO to Elizabeth Baker who survives at the home. Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Belinda Smith, Holts Summit; and Stephen and Rebecca Smith, Naperville, Illinois; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Gary Ridenhour, Holts Summit; five grandchildren; three brothers, Carroll W. Smith and Robert L. Smith, both of Columbia; and Larry N. Smith, Evansdale, Iowa; and three sisters, Barbara J. Price and Sandra L. Hagenhoff, both of Rocheport, MO; and Beverly G. Knox, Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaugher, Cristina L. Ridenhour; and two brothers, Donald L. Smith and Stephen D. Smith. He was also engaged in construction work for many years. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, KS 66601-1653; or American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1013, Columbia, MO 65205. He had served for several years with the Missouri National Guard. Rev. Smith was an ordained minister of the Pentecostal Church of God International having served the Concord Pentecostal Church of God for twenty years and the Eldon Pentecostal Church of God for two years. He had served for two years as Sectional Presbyter in Section V of the Sourthern Missouri District of the Pentecostal Church of God. Rev. Smith attended the Gospel Lighthouse in Holts Summit.
