Tharsilla Ann "Pat" Lieneke

Tharsilla Ann “Pat” Lieneke, 89, of Holts Summit, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020, at her residence.

She was born May 10, 1931, in Martinsburg, Missouri the daughter of August Clemens and Henrietta Ida (Renneke) Deeken.

Pat attended Potts School and Linn High School.

She was united in marriage on February 7, 1959 at the St. George Catholic Church in Linn, Missouri to Herbert John Lieneke who preceded her in death on July 5, 2000.

In early years, Pat worked for Linn Manufacturing Company for twelve years. After her marriage and they moved to Jefferson City, Pat worked at Oberman Pant Factory, and International Shoe Factory. She also cleaned various businesses and homes, ironed for families and picked and sold flats of strawberries.

Pat was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.

She was a Girl Scout leader when her daughters were young. She enjoyed crafts, vegetable and flower gardening, embroidery, taking pictures, compiling family history and making family history books, and especially loved her cows. With her husband, they enjoyed many sight seeing trips to Hermann. Family vacations always included trips to see airports and airplanes, and many historical sites throughout the country.

Survivors include two daughters, Lori Ann Kirchner, Holts Summit; Julie Lynn Lieneke, Holts Summit; three grandchildren, A.J. Kirchner, Lucas Kirchner, and Lydia Kirchner; one sister, Marie (Marvin) Lieneke, Hermann; three sisters-in-law, Marilyn Deeken, Jefferson City; Mary Ruth Deeken, Linn; and Margaret Sachse, Jefferson City; many nieces and nephews; and many good friends.

She was a preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert; three brothers, Wilbert Deeken, Norbert Deeken, and Gerald Deeken; two sisters, Louise Erickson and Berniece (Hadley) Joyce; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Sachse, and Lester (Ruth) Lieneke.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. I.C. Medina officiating.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

The general public is welcome to attend the services while following social distancing guidelines. Those attending the Mass will need to wear masks. Disposable masks will be provided by Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home if needed.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Masses.
