Ruth Helen Boeckman, 85, of St. Martins, died Monday October 8, 2018, at her residence.
She was born October 28, 1932 in St. Martins, the daughter of the late Victor and Hilda (Swanson) Brondel.
She was married on Oct. 3, 1953 in St. Martins to Frederick Joseph “Fritz” Boeckman who preceded her in death on December 20, 2006.
A homemaker, Ruth co-owned with her husband the Towne Grill Restaurant for twenty-one years.
She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.
Ruth was an avid Cardinal fan and enjoyed playing cards and eating out with her friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Jeanie Boeckman, Cedar Park, TX; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Jim Perrey, Decatur, IL; Karen and Gene Hentges, St. Martins; and Traci and Tony Hentges, St. Martins; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ann Wilbers and Betty Carel, both of Jefferson City.
She was preceded in death by parents, her husband, Frederick, a daughter, Vicki Crawford, seven brothers, and three sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018, at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark A. Porterfield officiating.
Visitation will be 11:30-1 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018, at St. Martin Catholic Church.
Burial will be in St. Martin Cemetery.
