Rose Marie Thessen

Rose Marie Thessen, 69, of Taos, died Tuesday, November 4, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born on May 7, 1934 in Cole County, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Brand Thessen. Survivors include two brothers, Harold H. Bud Thessen, Columbia; and Clarence W. Dick Thessen, OFallon; and nine nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos, with the Rev. J. David Maher officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Taos. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Jefferson City, with the Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Friday at the church. Miss Thessen was employed for many years with Bartletts Store in Jefferson City, and later with the Missouri Division of Employment Security until her retirement in 1999.
