Ronald Lee Ron Huhn, 53, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Folk, Missouri, lost his battle with cancer Wednesday, August 1, 2018, in Houston, Texas.

He was born August 1, 1965, in Jefferson City, the son of James and Claire Ann (Strope) Huhn.

He was a 1983 graduate of Fatima High School in Westphalia.

Ron worked in the restaurant and catering industry for many years in various roles and enjoyed serving others.

Ron enjoyed playing volleyball and softball, as well as playing with his dog and drinking sweet tea. He loved Christmas time being home with his family especially playing with all his nieces and nephews. Although Ron lived so far away, he would look forward to receiving the Unterrified Democrat newspaper to keep up with all his familys sports and accomplishments.

Survivors include his parents, James and Claire Huhn, Folk; five siblings, Mark (Theresa) Huhn, Folk; Keith (Sarah) Huhn, Folk; Stephanie (Steve) Laux, Koeltztown; Michelle (Kevin) Gabelsberger, Frankenstein; Kristen (Darin) Holtmeyer, St. Elizabeth; and 15 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony J. Viviano officiating.

Burial will be in St. Anthony of Padua Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Masses, the American Cancer Society or charity of the donors choice.

Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia is in charge of the arrangements.
