Ronald Dale Ahart

Ronald Dale Ahart, 66, of Henley, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, at his residence.

He was born February 15, 1956, in Tuscumbia, Missouri, the son of Lonnie Rex and Norma Jean (Graham) Ahart.

Ronald was a 1976 graduate of Tuscumbia High School.

He was united in marriage on June 16, 1979, at Immanuel Lutheran Church – Honey Creek to Rhonda Kay Smith who survives at the home.

Ronald was a member of the Laborers Local 662 where he was previously employed with Frank & Frank Contracting Inc., Don Schnieders Excavating, and Twehous Excavating Company.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Honey Creek.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, farming, gardening, and spending time at the lake with friends.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Ahart, Henley; three children, Rochelle (Brian Hulett) Koetting, Eugene; Ross (Carrie) Ahart, Eldon; Eric (Andrea) Ahart, Henley; six grandchildren, Carter Koetting, Claire Koetting, Audrey Ahart, Hudson Ahart, Aliyah Ahart, Weston Ahart; and three siblings, Brenda (Charles) Young, Republic, MO; Bob (Sheila) Ahart, Tuscumbia; and Richard (Margaret) Ahart, Tuscumbia.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Honey Creek.  Additional visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Pastor Sam Powell officiating.

Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or School or to Hospice Compassus.
