Michael David Tambke, 42, of Bonnots Mill, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024, in Bonnots Mill.
He was born April 2, 1981, in Jefferson City, the son of David Earl and Bernadine (Dutcher) Tambke.
Michael was a 1999 graduate of Russellville High School.
He was united in marriage on June 30, 2018, in Bonnots Mill to Laci Rachelle Ocheskey who survives at the home.
Michael began his career alongside his father at Tambke Petroleum in Russellville. Later on, he dedicated his time and skills to Sellenriek Construction. Recently, Michael worked as an equipment operator for Local 513 and as a HDD Foreman and Operator for Miller Pipeline.
Michael had a passion for various activities that brought joy into his life. He found solace in hunting and fishing. With a green thumb, Michael took pride in gardening and canning. In his leisure time, he enjoyed engaging in card games and cheering on his favorite sports teams such as the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. His warm personality allowed him to form deep connections and cherish moments of socializing with friends.
Survivors include his wife, Laci Tambke, Bonnots Mill; his mother, Bernadine Tambke, Russellville; one daughter, Mailee Tambke, Jefferson City; step-son Benjamin Strutton, California; one sister, Jenifer (Adam) Seaver, Russellville; his father and mother in-law, Gordon (Sharon) Ocheskey, Bonnots, Mill; brothers-in-law, Brian (Gayla) Ocheskey and Bradley (Shelia) Ocheskey; and nieces and nephews, Christopher Seaver, Justin Seaver, Brady Seaver, Karlee Ocheskey, Brenna Ocheskey, Derek Ocheskey and Drew Ocheskey.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2024, at Trimble Funeral Homes – Russellville. With a prayer service at 6 p.m. with Pastor Ed Merkel officiating.
