Martha Marie Howard

Martha Marie Howard, 70, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at her residence.

She was born December 4, 1952, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Nelson Lilburn and Norma Jean (Green) Howard.

Martha was a 1970 graduate of Russellville High School and received a degree in Accounting from School of the Ozarks.

Martha worked for many years with Harry Winfrey Certified Public Accountants in Columbia as a Senior Account Supervisor.

She was a member of Russellville Baptist Church.  Martha enjoyed collecting recipes from newspaper.  She will be remembered by her family for her kind heartedness and caring attention to those in need.

Survivors include three siblings, Michael Howard, Russellville; James Howard, Russellville; Marcus (Betty) Howard, Jefferson City; sister-in-law, Charlene “Kay” Howard, Russellville; nine nieces and nephews, Jamie (Chris) Eiken, Adam (Ginger) Howard, Bradley (Stephanie) Howard, Staci Howard, William Giesing, IV, Thomas Giesing, Chandiwira (Shona) Beza, Steven Beza; and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Nancy Howard; two brothers, Nelson (Becky) Howard, Jr. and Robert Howard; and a niece, Rachel Howard.

Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Trimble Funeral Homes – Russellville.  A funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Rusty Kuhns officiating.  Burial will be in Spring Garden Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Russellville Baptist Church or to the Spring Garden Cemetery.
