Lillian Frances Redel, 85, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday February 19, 2022, at Stone Bridge-Westphalia Hills.

She was born on October 24, 1936, in Vienna, the daughter of Lawrence Henry and Frances (Laubert) Renkemeyer.
She was a 1952 graduate of Vienna High School. She was united in marriage in Vienna to Charles Jacob “Chuck” Redel who preceded her in death on February 1, 2012. Lillian worked for Home Savings and Loan for over forty years. She started as a teller and later worked in the Commercial and Home Loan Department. She was a sixty-five plus member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Ann’s Sodality and volunteered helping with funeral luncheons. She also volunteered at Samaritan Center. Lillian was a woman of strong faith and loved serving her church and her community. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and treasured phone calls with her daughter and siblings.

Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Kathryn (Denny) Osburn, Kansas City; a granddaughter, Paden Kathryn Osburn, Clarksville, Tennessee; her siblings Naoma Rehagen, Springfield; Lucille Buehler, Springfield; Bernice Heckman, Wardsville; Irma (Joe) Richter, Freeburg; Victor Renkemeyer, Westphalia; and Don Renkemeyer, Jefferson City; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim (Carol) Redel, Avon Indiana; Terry (Martin) Schwartze, Holts Summit; and Rosalyn Redel, Farmers Branch, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; a daughter, Peggy Ann Redel; sisters, Viola (John) Richardson; Irene (Victor) Stegeman; Delores (Francis) Markway; and an infant sister, Thelma Renkemeyer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob Rehagen, Bill Rehagen, Harold Heckman, Velma Renkemeyer, Mabel Renkemeyer, Michael Redel and Sylvester (Marcie) Redel.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with prayers at 10:15.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2022, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Donald J. Antweiler officiating. The service will be live streamed for those who wish to watch from home. The link can be found on Lillian’s obituary page under Tribute Wall at www.dulletrimble.com.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Immaculate Conception Catholic School (1206 E. McCarty St., Jefferson City, MO 65101) or to Masses.
