Julieanne Wilkerson-Grace

Julieanne "Cis" Wilkerson-Grace, 60, of Jefferson City passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis following a brief illness.

She was born on September 16, 1962 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Judith (Yager) Wilkerson of Jefferson City and the late Edward Wilkerson. Julianne grew up in Jefferson City where she attended Immaculate Conception School, Jefferson City High School and Lincoln University.

Her service in the U.S. Army informed the rest of her life.  After serving in the military, Julieanne concentrated on a civilian life based on that service; and on caring for her son, Evan, to the best of her ability. She had an outgoing personality and made friends easily. She was an enthusiastic reader who often turned to mysteries and western novels for a good read. Whether it was tending to her flower and vegetable gardens or fishing at Binder Lake, Julieanne loved being outdoors.

Surviving family members include her son Evan Wilkerson of Jefferson City, mother, Judith Wilkerson, and brother, Edward (Sandra) Wilkerson Jr. and their daughter Emilia of Wamego, KS.

Private entombment will be in Ft. Leonard Wood Cemetery.
