Julia Albright

Julia Albright, 82, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020, at her residence, surrounded by her family and friends.

Julia was born in Bellair, Ohio on January 9, 1938, to Anthony Angelo Brunori and Ann Sophia Woloscsuk. She is the oldest of five children. Her earliest schooling was there in Bellair, however she graduated in Lodi, California.

She was married in 1955, to George Albright. They met in San Francisco and were married in Reno, Nevada. There were two daughters born of this union of over 65 years.

Julia loved being a mother and spoiled each of them. Supporting them through swimming meets, ice skating and many other activities. She loved cooking and was great at it. She was faithful in supporting her husband and everything he did.

She was employed at Von Hoffman Press for nearly 15 years and at Scholastic Magazine for over 15 years having perfect attendance.

In 1981 her husband George joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Julia joined a few months later. Soon they had their earthly marriage sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa Arizona Temple. Together they were very active. She was a teacher and an advisor to the Young Women in the church. She would also go to camp with them for many years.

After her retirement, she visited her granddaughter in Japan. She loved the friendship of the many friends she had. Other than her many church friends she had Red Hat friends and Cultured Pearl friends. Later in her life, she learned and loved to play bridge. Julia will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, a daughter, Sherry Lynn Poore, one sister, and one brother.

She is survived by her husband George Albright of the home; one daughter, Cindy Frank (John), Jefferson City; a son-in-law, Michael Poore, Tampa, FL; one sister, Ann Marie Brunori and one brother, Charles Brunori both of San Francisco, CA; 7 grandchildren: Candace Adair (Marc), San Antonio, TX, Lindsey Gabriella, Washington, D.C., Ben Poore, Washington, D.C., Trevor Tallent (Bridget), Lawrenceburg, IN, Tom Frank (Jennifer), Linn, MO, Jessie Boehm (Zacary), Westphalia, and Matt Frank (Staci), Linn, MO; and 13 great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held, Monday, October 5, 2020 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Dwain Roberts officiating.

Memorials are suggested to the Missionary fund at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
