Jacqueline Joyce Linsenbardt

July 16, 1925 — February 14, 2018

Jacqueline Joyce Starling Linsenbardt, 92, of Lohman, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 24, 2018.

Jackie was born July 16, 1925, in Wake County, North Carolina, the youngest daughter of Franklin and Sally (Jones) Starling.

She attended Jefferson City High School, and graduated from Fuquay Springs High School as most musical and best personality in April 1943.

She was united in marriage on August 12, 1943, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lohman, Missouri to Albin William Linsenbardt who survives at the home.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she was active in the choir, sewing circle, chili suppers, and vacation bible school. She was frequently asked to sing at numerous funerals.

Jackie was a devoted wife and mother of four children. She enjoyed singing, cooking, sewing, reading, flower gardening, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Albin Linsenbardt, Lohman; three children, Abbie (Paula) Linsenbardt, Lohman; Stanley (Judy) Linsenbardt, Jefferson City; Barbara (Henry) Carrel, Fayetteville, AR; a daughter-in-law, Becky Linsenbardt, Mont Belvieu, TX; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Larry Linsenbardt; and eleven siblings, Ruby Voss, Dorothy Longmire, Gladys Skeen, Nettie Jones, Katie Cialkowski; Louise Young, Margaret Starling, Ronnie Starling, Frank Starling, Robert Starling, and Bennie Starling.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lohman.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lohman with Rev. David Viles officiating.

Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Hospice Compassus, or to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes in Russellville is in charge of the arrangements.
