Heather Ann McHugh, 37, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri.
She was born February 13, 1984, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Tracy Ann McHugh.
She was a 2002 graduate of Jefferson City High School and attended the Chicago Art Institute in Chicago, Illinois.
Heather currently worked for Scholastic Inc. in customer service. In her free time, she enjoyed computers, reading, and was an amazing artist especially in drawing.
Survivors include her mother, Tracy McHugh, Jefferson City; aunt, Gretchen (Stephen) Veltrop, Jefferson City; two uncles, Kirk McHugh, Jefferson City; Wally McHugh, Jefferson City; and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Frances McHugh; and an aunt, Christy McHugh.
Private family service and entombment will be held at Riverview Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Heather’s family in care of Tracy McHugh.
