Harold A. Priest

Harold A. Priest, 85, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.

He was born in September 1933, in Hornersville, Missouri, the son of the late Acil and Ellen (Sisk) Priest.

He was married in Tunas, Missouri in December 1956, to Sally Moulder who survives at the home.

He graduated from high school in Monette, Arkansas; received a Bachelor of Science degree from Arkansas State College in Jonesboro, Arkansas; a Masters degree from Lincoln University, Jefferson City, Missouri; and an Educational Specialist degree from Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Harold was a high school classroom teacher, coach and administrator for thirty years in Missouri including schools in Climax Springs, Cole Camp, Russellville, Belle, and Linn. He retired in 1985.

He was member of Jefferson City Masonic Lodge No. 43, A.F.& A.M. and the Missouri State Teachers Association.

Survivors include his wife, Sally; and his brother Donnie W. (Virginia) Priest, Rolla, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his young daughter, Connie Sue Priest.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes in Russellville with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Enloe Cemetery in Russellville with the Rev. Dinzel Webb officiating.

Memorials are suggested to Enloe Cemetery, c/o of Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes.
