Frederick “Fred” Paul Rademan, 67, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
He was born August 30, 1953, in Jefferson City, to the late Herbert Joseph and Nothburga Martina (Toebben) Rademan.
Fred was a foreman in charge of building maintenance for the Jefferson City Parks and Recreation for about 40 years and remodeled houses during retirement.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Fred was a very kind and loving person. He loved being with his family especially his grandchildren. He was well known as being the camera man at all the family functions, teaching his grandson, Devyn and his nephews how to remodel homes, including the electrical and plumbing. As well as butchering hogs and cattle. He enjoyed being on the river, being outdoors, going to the racetrack, and playing cards. Fred loved being with people and volunteered freely to help them whenever they needed.
Survivors include two daughters, Rachel Rademan, Jefferson City; and Elizabeth (Andrew) Terpstra, Jefferson City; four grandchildren, Devyn Rademan, Kabeanna Reddy, Isabella Reddy, and Beau Terpstra; girlfriend, Catherine Stout, California; and six siblings, Delores (Stanley) Farris, Bernard (Mary Lou) Rademan, Mary Ann (Bill) Haselhorst, Charles (Sharon) Rademan, all of Jefferson City; Nadine (Dale) Johnson, Largo, Florida; and Clara (Dan) Hillen, Jefferson City.
He was a preceded in death by his parents and a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia & Jerry McBride.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Jeremy Secrist officiating. The service will be live streamed for those who wish to watch from home. The link can be found on Fred’s obituary page under Tribute Wall at www.dulletrimble.com.
The general public is welcome to attend services while following social distancing guidelines. Facial coverings are encouraged while in attendance.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
