Evelyn Ann Luebbering, 94, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born September 2, 1924, in St. Thomas, Missouri, the daughter of the late Bernard Urban and Emma Johanna (Lueckenotto) Luebbering.
Evelyn worked as an assembler for McGraw-Edison Company in Jefferson City from 1965-1985. She previously had worked for Tweedie Shoe Factory.
She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph and the Ladies Sodality. She volunteered for numerous charitable organizations. She spent her lifetime helping people.
Survivors include two sisters, Henrietta Kleffner, Jefferson City; Lucille (Bernard) Engelmeyer, Jefferson City; two sisters-in-law, Monica Luebbering, Marshall, MO; Rosemary Luebbering, St. Thomas, MO; and several nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marcella Morff; three brothers, Ralph, Jerome, and Richard Luebbering; and special friend, Sylvester Holzer.
A prayer service will be 4 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2019, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with visitation to follow till 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph Church.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Catholic Mausoleum.
Memorials are suggested to the Cathedral of St. Joseph or to St. Joseph Catholic School.
