Donna Marie Nichols

Donna Nichols, 77, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at her residence.

She was born February 12, 1945, in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Thomas and Wilma Irene (Hanks) Larkin.

She was married on July 25, 1986, to Edward Anthony “Tony” Nichols who preceded her in death on November 9, 2013.

Donna worked as an office support staff member at Capital Region Medical Center for over twenty years.

She was a member of Kingdom Hall.

Donna enjoyed doing all sorts of crafts, including painting, sewing, cooking, crossword puzzles and gardening.  Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren loved her dearly.

Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Lynn Clark, Eldon; Tanya Marie Denny, Swansboro, North Carolina; and Jessica Lynn (Seth Trinklein) Boessen, Jefferson City; stepson, Johnny Nichols, Columbia; stepdaughter, Marsha Nichols, Jefferson City; two grandchildren, Jacob Meyer, and William (Suzie) Drew; six great-grandchildren; sister, Tammy Murry, Belton, Missouri; sister-in-law, Cindy Larkin, Lenexa, Kansas; and a nephew, Jason Turner, Dallas, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; the light and love her life, her husband, Tony; two sisters, Margie White and Kim Turner; and a brother, Ted Larkin.

Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Trimble Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Trimble Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Compassus Hospice, American Diabetes Association, or to the Special Learning Center.
