Dolores Lorraine Markus

Dolores Lorraine Markus (née Murray), age 92, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023, at The Meadowlands Assisted Living in O’Fallon, MO.

She was born March 26th, 1931, in St. Louis to Cecil and Gertrude (Perkins) Murray.

Beloved wife of the late Francis Markus; dear mother of Joseph (Faith) and Douglas (Linda) Markus; loving grandmother of Blake (Amy), JP (Beth), Cecily (Brian), Lisa (Brandon) and Richard; cherished great-grandmother of Clementine, Kennedy, Molly, Wren, Zach, Loche, Isla, Ian, Ariel, Chase & Crystal; as well as a dear aunt, cousin, and friend.  She was the dearest sister of the late Virginia Louise Stradtmann.

Private services will be held with interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
