Dawn Deborah (Kempker) Ramos, 44, of Folk, died Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Capital Region Medical Center surrounded by her daughter, son, mother, sisters and brothers, following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 1, 1973, a daughter of Virgil H. and Rose Ann Kempker. Her mother survives in Folk.
A 1991 graduate of Fatima High School, Dawn was a homemaker and stay-at-home mother. She previously worked at Sprint and Scholastics in Jefferson City. She enjoyed going dancing, and spending time with family and friends, especially her children, Selena and Derek.
Dawn is survived by her mother, her children, Selena Ramos, Columbia, and Derek Ramos, Jefferson City; five sisters, Debbie Thompson, Diane Morgan (Raymond), Donna Kesel, Delores Lynn Bexten, Folk, and Doris West, Freeburg; three brothers, David Kempker, Daniel Kempker, Dwayne Kempker (Tanya), Folk; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Kempker, and a sister, Darlene Welschmeyer.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Folk.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Folk with the Rev. Anthony J. Viviano officiating.
Burial will be in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Cemetery.
