Darrel Wayne Burnett, 60, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at SSM Health St. Marys Hospital.
He was born December 19, 1956, in St. Louis, the son of the late David Francis and Bernice (Orton) Burnett.
He was united in marriage on December 3, 1979, in Bernie, Missouri to Robin Denise Eads who survives at the home.
Darrel worked as a welder for over 20 years for various companies.
He was a member of Liberty Road Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Robin Burnett, he is survived by two children, Amber Dawn Stewart, Jefferson City; Preston Wayne (Amber) Burnett, Jefferson City; seven grandchildren, Damien Stewart, Emerald Stewart, Kahlan Stewart, Scarlett Stewart, Claire Stewart, Beyla Burnett, Brinley Burnett; and three siblings, Connie (Aubrey) Smith, Malden, MO; Jackie (Jack) Ferguson, Dexter, MO; and Pat Waldrup, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Heath Burnett; four sisters, Anita Courtie, Lalie Minter, Barbara Carter, Goldie Mason; and two brothers, Robert Burnett and David Burnett.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Hogan officiating.
