Danny Ray Morland

Danny Ray Morland, 68, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at his residence.

He was born September 2, 1954, in Jefferson City, the son of James Bedford and Virginia D. (Ousley) Morland.

Danny attended Jefferson City High School and earned his GED while serving in the military.

He was married to Teresa I. Bryan who survives.

Danny worked most of his life as a steel worker.  He enjoyed spending time on the farm, visiting the river and the lake, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Morland, Jefferson City; four children, Levi Morland spouse Renee, St. Petersburg, FL; Andrew Morland spouse Tiffany, Jefferson City; Melissa Pope spouse Jeremy, Jefferson City; David Morland, Jefferson City; and three grandchildren, Brencton Morland, Alexis Pope, and Cooper Pope.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 25th from 6pm-10pm at the Cedar City Room (the old school in Cedar City), located at 810 Sandstone Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
