Daniel Bruce "Rocky" Rockelman

Daniel Bruce “Rocky” Rockelman, 66, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020, as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born February 2, 1954, in Russellville, Missouri, the son of the late August Edward and Dorothy Louise (Hiemeyer) Rockelman.

Rocky was a 1972 graduate of Russellville High School and a 1974 graduate of Linn State Technical College.

He was united in marriage on September 6, 2003, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville to Patti A. Lohmeyer who survives at the home.

Rocky worked as an auto mechanic and body repair technician. He eventually owned and operated Dan’s Body Shop in Russellville. In his earlier years, he helped his father on the farm, was a carpenter apprentice for Glen Leithauser, and worked for McGraw Eddison and Von Hoffman Press.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville. He enjoyed race cars, gardening, cooking, drumming, building furniture, and drafting blueprints. He was also a former member of the Russellville Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, Patti Rockelman, Russellville; one son, Daniel Rockelman; two step-children; several step great-grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Rockelman, Russellville; and other extended family members.

There are no services planned at this time.

Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes in Russellville is in charge of the arrangements.
