Victor Frank Wieberg, 88, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015, at the Harry S. Truman VA Hospital in Columbia, MO. He was born November 19, 1927, in Argyle, Missouri the son of the late August F. and Hilda Catherine (Eichholz) Wieberg. Victor served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was united in marriage on May 24, 1986, in Jefferson City to Martha Ann (Brenneke) Heidbreder who survives. Victor worked for over 40 years with Leonard Barnhart Construction until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus Forth Degree, and Roscoe Enloe VFW Post 1003. Survivors include his wife, Martha Wieberg, Jefferson City; two step-daughters, Elizabeth Shelton, Holts Summit; Sharon (David) Welch, Jefferson City; four step-grandchildren, Michael (Melissa) Shelton, Kristina (Gregg) Baitinger, John Welch (Mary Hall), Christopher (Melissa) Welch; seven step-great-grandchildren, Olivia Baitinger, Simon Baitinger, Easton Shelton, Laurel Welch, Henry Welch, Beatrice Welch, Agnes Welch; four siblings, Clarence "Doc" (Jeanette) Wieberg, Dodge, Neb.; Gus Wieberg, Holts Summit; Agnes Brenneke, Jefferson City; Margaret Brenneke, Jefferson City; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Wieberg, Westphalia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ann Lape; two brothers, Gilbert Wieberg and Leonard Wieberg; two brothers-in-law, John Brenneke and Lawrence Brenneke; and a nephew, Jeffrey Wieberg. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Cesar Anicama officiating. Entombment with military honors will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church, 216 Broadway Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
