VIRGINIA MAE McBRIDE

September 9, 1952 — June 10, 2009

Virginia Mae McBride, 56, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at St. Marys Health Center. She was born on Sept. 9, 1952, in Lohman, Mo., the daughter of Herbert and Nothburga Martina Toebben Rademan. She was married on Sept. 1, 1973, in St. Martins, Mo., to Jerry Dean McBride who died on June 14, 2005. Mrs. McBride was a graduate of Jefferson City High School and was employed as a document processor in the image department at the Missouri Farm Bureau where she had worked for thirty-one years. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and also attended the Cathedral of Saint Joseph. She often assisted with Perpetual Adoration. She was a very caring and loving mother and grandmother who always made people feel special and welcome. She will be missed by all. Survivors include her mother, Nothburga Rademan, Jefferson City; her fianc, Donnie Bastion, Jefferson City; one daughter, Sarah (Michael) Gordon, Jefferson City; two sons, Douglas McBride and his fiance, Rachele LaNeave, Jefferson City; and Tommy McBride, Jefferson City; her fiancs children, Tiffany (Mike) Meyers, St. Thomas, Mo.; and Scottie (Misty) Bastion, Freeburg, Mo.; one granddaughter, Shelby Gordon; her fiancs grandchildren, Sydney Meyers, Elena Meyers, and Kara Bastion; four sisters, Delores (Stan) Farris, Jefferson City; Mary (Bill) Haselhorst, Jefferson City; Nadine (Dale) Johnson, Higbee, Mo.; and Clara (Dan) Hillen, Jefferson City; and three brothers, Fred (Jeannie) Rademan, Jefferson City; Charlie (Sharon) Rademan, Osage Bend, Mo.; and Bernie (Mary Lou) Rademan, Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her father and husband. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2009, at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph with the Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, June 14th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Virginia McBride Memorial Fund.
