Tina Rae Martin

Tina Rae Martin, 57, of Jefferson City, died Friday, October 11, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born on October 2, 1956, in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Ray and Roberta (Pryor) Mark. Her mother survives in Kirksville, Mo. Tina was a graduate of Schuyler R-1 High School and Kirksville College of Cosmetology. Tina worked as a hairstylist for several years until she began her career in banking in the mid-80's. Tina struggled with physical disabilities due to injuries sustained in a car accident in 1994. She loved shopping, dining out, and especially spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Tonya Mark, Jefferson City; Samantha (Vernon) Kalkbrenner, Raymond, IA; two grandchildren, Mason and Emery Kalkbrenner; her brother, Terry (Brenda) Mark, Greentop, Mo; and her sister, Marilee (Allen) Tatman, Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her father. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 3-5 p.m. at her favorite place, Paddy Malone's Irish Pub, 700 West Main Street, Jefferson City.
