Thomas Garland Throneberry, Jr., 86, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, November 8, 2012, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born on May 20, 1926, in Dumas, Arkansas, the son of the late Thomas Garland and Bertie Naomi (James) Throneberry, Sr.
He was united in marriage on December 30, 1946, in Jefferson City to Billye Sue Neeley who resides at the home.
Mr. Throneberry served with the United States Army during World War II.
He was employed with the Missouri Division of Design and Construction as a maintenance supervisor for 39 years retiring March 1, 1989.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, American Legion, and Disabled American Veterans.
Other survivors include: two children, Thomas (Merry) Throneberry, Holts Summit, Mo.; and Jacqueline Throneberry, Lakeland, Florida; five grandchildren, Sean Throneberry, Holts Summit, Mo.; Kirsten Throneberry, Seattle, Washington; Melissa Heet, Jefferson City; Michael Morris, Oak Grove, Mo.; and Monica Morris, Springfield, Ill.; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Military honors will follow at the funeral home with the Rev. Tony Viviano officiating.
Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
