Patrick Raymond Hughes

Patrick Raymond Hughes, 25, of Oklahoma City, OK, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away July 6, 2014, in a tragic accident in Norman, OK. He was born August 4, 1988, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the son of Michael Raymond Hughes and Karen Bambara. Patrick attended Helias High School in Jefferson City. He currently was working as crew leader in concrete construction for Suncoast Post Tensioning. Patrick was reared in the Catholic faith. He enjoyed using Facebook to connect with family and friends and loved helping his father on various projects. Survivors include: his father, Michael (Kathy) Hughes, Jefferson City; his mother, Karen Bambara, Buckeye, Ariz.; three sisters, Vanessa Hughes, Des Moines, Iowa; Michele (Mark) Groves, Buckeye, Ariz.; Sara Robinson, Buckeye, Ariz.; one niece, Harley Gibson; one nephew, Nathan Groves; his paternal grandmother, Sue Hughes, Jefferson City; and his maternal grandmother, Hillary Bambara, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Francis Hughes and his maternal grandfather, Donald Bambara. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Resurrection Cemetery with the Rev. Msgr. David D. Cox officiating.
