NORBERT HENRY HOHM

March 2, 1926 — November 23, 2006

Norbert Henry Hohm, 80, Jefferson City, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at Capital Region Medical Center with his son, Michael, at his side. He was born on March 2, 1926 in Cole County, the son of John Joseph and Pauline Kaiser Hohm. A graduate of St. Peter High School, he was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was employed in earlier years with Phillips Pipe Line Company, Corpus Christy, TX, and later with American Food Management where he was an Executive Chef for forty-two years. Mr. Hohm was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church; American Legion; and Disabled American Veterans. His greatest enjoyment in life was his family and most especially his grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter, Dianna Pilgrim, South Carolina; two sons, Norbert H. Hohm, II and Michael S. Hohm, both of Jefferson City; six grandchildren, Austin Hohm, Zachary Hohm, Taylor Hohm, Ryan Hohm, Todd Rustman, and Christopher Rustman; four great-grandchildren, Sierra, Cayden, Kaylie, and Truman Rustman; two sisters, Dolores Kliethermes and Genevieve Knaeble, both of Kansas City, MO; and two brothers, John Sonny Hohm and Linus Hohm, both of Jefferson City. He was preceded by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Donardo S. Bermejo officiating. Burial with military honors will be in St. Peter Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Gateway Chapter, 77 Westport Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63146.
