Norbert Fredrich Doerhoff, 73, of Taos, died Monday, April 07, 2008, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on December 8, 1934, in Henley, MO to August and Margaret Kempker Doerhoff. He was united in marriage on November 16, 1957, in Jefferson City, to Betty Jo Porting who survives at the home. He served in the United States Army. Norbert worked for American Building Products for thirty-three years. He currently worked for Durham Bus Service as a school bus driver for Blair Oaks and Taos. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He enjoyed truck driving, farming, and spending time with his grandchildren. Other survivors include: two sons and two daughters-in-law, DeWayne and Faye Doerhoff, Wardsville; David and Kathy Doerhoff, Taos; five grandchildren, Kelby Doerhoff; Jordy Doerhoff; Adriane Doerhoff; Lauren Doerhoff; Lucas Doerhoff; one sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Gene Pringer, Wardsville; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Doerhoff, Henley; and Donald and wife Jane Kempker, who was raised with Norbert. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Alma Boessen; and one brother, Alfred Doerhoff. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2008, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. J. David Maher officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 7319 Rt.
