Marie P. Henry

Marie P. Henry, 99, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Autumn Meadows Nursing Center. She was born October 28, 1914, in Howard County, Missouri, the daughter of the late George Washington and Maude (Drane) Potter. She was united in marriage to Carl Adam Henry who preceded her in death on May 17, 1985. Mrs. Henry was a clerk for the Social Security Administration and attended Concord Baptist Church. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoyed traveling, genealogy, and flowers. Survivors include: two children, Diane (Dennis) Hopke, Linn; Duane (Kellye) Henry, El Cerrito, California; four grandchildren, Suzanne (James) Barber; Scott (Becky) Hopke; Laura Henry; Matt Henry; and two great-grandchildren, Paige Barber and Kaden Barber. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, George, Arthur, and James Potter; and two sisters, Elizabeth Sinclair and Cora Lou O'Brian. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Pastor Rev. Jeff Kruger officiating. Burial will be in Honey Creek Cemetery.
