Louise Katherine Burnett, 86, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at Adams Street Place. She was born on May 20, 1921, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Gerhard Henry and Adeline Matilda Toebben Bemboom She was married on Sept. 9, 1942, in Cheyenne, WY, to Elton Elwood Burnett who died on Oct. 19, 1994. A homemaker, Mrs. Burnett enjoyed quilting, crocheting, crafts, and flower gardening. She was of the Roman Catholic faith. Survivors include three daughters and their husbands, Eltona Toni and Vernon Karlstedt, Spring Hill, Fla.; Brenda and Bill Chiles, New Bloomfield, Mo.; and Sharon and Tom Wadley, Jefferson City; three sons and their wives, Gary and Sharon Burnett, Jefferson City; Joe and Janice Burnett, Meta, Mo.; and Fred and Betty Burnett, Jefferson City; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; four sisters and their husbands, Bernadine Warner, San Diego, Calf.; Frieda and Gerry Sosnowski, Jefferson City; Loretta and Clifford Siebeneck, Jefferson City; and Agnes Newman, Jefferson City; and one brother and his wife, Harry and Hilda Bemboom, Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Andrew Bemboom; Paul Bemboom; and Eddie Bemboom. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Wardsville, with the Rev. Daniel I.J. Lueckenotte officiating. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Community Hospices of America, 2418 Hyde Park Road, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
