KENNETH EUGENE OIDTMAN

August 5, 1941 — May 18, 2012

Kenneth Eugene Oidtman, 70, of Jefferson City, died Friday, May 18, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on August 5, 1941, in Jefferson City, the son of the late Martin Paul and Mabelle Clare Woratzeck Oidtman.
He was a graduate of St. Peter Grade School and was a 1959 graduate of Helias High School.
On February 23, 1963, in Jefferson City, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Luetkemeyer who survives at the home.
Kenneth retired on July 1, 1999, after 36 years of service with the Missouri State Parks.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church ,Mens Sodality, and participated with Perpetual Adoration at the church. Kenneth was a volunteer with St. Marys Health Center and was a Master Gardener.
Other survivors include: one son, Barry (Tami) Oidtman, Columbia; one granddaughter, Jordyn Oidtman; and four siblings, Doris Kraus, Jefferson City; Glennon (Deanna) Oidtman, Climax Springs, Mo.; Henrietta Hartness, Jefferson City; and David (Sharon) Oidtman, Jefferson City.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Paige Oidtman; and a sister, Mary Louise Melley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis W. Doyle, officiating.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Catholic Church.
