JUANITA RUTH RIDENHOUR

Juanita Ruth Ridenhour,76, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, September 28, 2008, at her residence. She was born on December 5, 1931, in Columbia, Mo, the daughter of Walter and Theresa Rice Cook. She was united in marriage on December 27, 1948, in Callaway County to Roy Lee Ridenhour who survives at the home. A homemaker all of her life, Juanita was a member of Calvary Assembly, taught Sunday School for many years, lead Bible studies at local nursing homes, enjoyed cooking deserts and pies, and loved music. Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Dan Kohl, Jefferson City; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Gary and Deborah Ridenhour, Holts Summit; Steve Ridenhour, Centertown; six grandchildren, Anthony Ridenhour; Mathew Ridenhour; Alecia Mengwasser; Brian Kohl; Broc Kohl; Kirsten Wilkins; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter, Christina Ridenhour. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. James McHaffie officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
