Edward Louis Schwiesow II

Edward Louis Schwiesow, II, 82, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at Westphalia Hills Nursing Home.

Edward was born on July 19, 1938 in Chicago to the late Edward Louis and Myrtle (Hensch) Schwiesow.

He graduated from Morningside High School in Inglewood, California and studied two years at El Camino State College.

He served his country with the United States Army.

He was a building contractor with Ruppel Construction.

Edward liked to build things, work on cars, plant trees and flowers and feed and watch birds.

Survivors include four children, Chuck (Amanda) Ruppel, Jefferson City; Kimberly Struemph, Jefferson City; Sharrie Ruppel, Jefferson City; Edward Ruppel, III, California, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Myrtle Housley, in the state of California.

He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Gary Struemph; and a sister, Katherine McAdams.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
