DOROTHY ANN LUEBBERING

Dorothy Ann Luebbering, 74, of Wardsville, Mo., died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at St. Marys Health Care Center. She was born on June 13, 1934, in Koeltztown, Mo., the daughter of the late Gerhard F. and Mathilda Raab Bax. She was married on Aug. 2, 1958, in Freeburg, Mo. to Stanislaus Christopher Luebbering who died on May 23, 1998. A homemaker, Mrs. Luebbering was employed for several years as a cook at Blair Oaks High School and also served as a housekeeper and baby-sitter. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville; Ladies Sodality; and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, ceramic work, crafting, fishing, and camping. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Penelope and Keith Pecher, Wardsville; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Janet Luebbering, Tony and Darlene Luebbering, and Tim and Diane Luebbering, all of Wardsville; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters and their husbands, Rita and Reuben Luebbering, Westphalia, Mo.; and Patsy and Ed Nelson, Eugene, Mo.; and four brothers and their wives, Emil and Maxine Bax, Freeburg. Mo.; Gerhard, Jr. and Virginia Bax, Freeburg, Mo.; Elmer and Rita Bax, Westphalia, Mo.; and Fred and Brenda Bax, Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Victor Bax and Robert Bax. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville, with the Rev. Gregory C. Meystrik officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Wardsville. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the St. Stanislaus Catholic School, 6410 Route W., Jefferson City, MO 65101-9702.
