Casie Lee Price, 18, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006, in Callaway County. She was born on Jan. 27, 1988 in Jefferson City, the daughter of Ryan F. and Barbara Ann Wolters Price. Casie was a 2006 graduate of Helias High School and was planning to attend Merrell University this fall. She was previously employed with Jefferson City Parks and Recreation Department. This past summer she spent time caring for her son and niece. A member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos, Casie enjoyed volleyball, soccer, traveling, canoeing, horseback riding, and scrap booking. She especially enjoyed her travels to Costa Rica, Branson, and St. Louis where she was a fan of the Cardinals. She had many friends and relatives who made her life rich and fulfilling. Her greatest joy was raising her son. Survivors include her beloved Steven Meister and their son, Adam Lee Meister, Jefferson City; her mother and step-father, Barbara Price-Boucher and David Boucher, Jefferson City; her father and step-mother, Ryan and Zi Price, Hugoton, KS; two sisters, Codi Lynn Price and Courtney Reagan Price, both of Jefferson City; aunts, Becky (Terry) Morts, Kenda (Glen) Miller, and Jana (Tim) Ash; uncles, Bill Wolters, Kelly (Marie) Price, and Koby (Sheila) Price; great-aunt, Stella Schmitz, Jefferson City; niece, Elise Rion Price, Jefferson City; and many cousins and step-relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos, with the Rev. Brendan Doyle officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Taos. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Adam Lee Meister Education Fund.
